Rhenium has a density of 21.04 g/cm3, a melting point of 3180°C, and a boiling point of 5627°C. The lattice type is densely hexagonal. The appearance is the same as platinum, pure rhenium is soft and has good mechanical properties. Soluble in dilute nitric acid or hydrogen peroxide solution. Insoluble in hydrochloric acid and hydrofluoric acid. At high temperatures, it combines with sulfur vapor to form rhenium sulfide ReS2. Does not interact with hydrogen and nitrogen, but can absorb H2. The valences are 3, 4, 6, and 7. It can be oxidized into very stable rhenium heptaoxide Re2O7, which is the special property of rhenium. The content of rhenium in the crust is about 1×10^-7%. In nature, rhenium is distributed in molybdenite, rare earth ore and niobium-tantalite, and the content is very low. The molybdenite may exist in the form of rhenium disulfide ReS2 or rhenium heptasulfide Re2S7, and the content is slightly higher.
Shinning surface. Natural bread shape good looking as an artwork piece. Same looking as that of Platinum.
99.99% purity Rhenium, hard melting metal. A kind of rare metal.
About 5 Grams per piece. They are identical for each piece. The overall weight is about 5g(-0.2g~+0.5g)
