How To Measure


Decide Inside or Outside Mount Please decide the mount type before you place an order. INSIDE of the window frame, provide finished look without hiding wood trim. 2 inches window DEPTH is needed. OUTSIDE of the window frame, mounted on your wall or mold, provide better covering.	Inside Mount 1. Measure the width in top, middle, bottom inside of the window, use the narrowest width as your window width. 2. Choose Exact Window Width, we reduce 0.4" when making the shade. 3. Choose Exact Window Height, we make the shade height as window height.	Outside Mount 1. Measure the window outer frame width and height. 2. Choose Exact Shade Width you need. Hang on the frame, the shade width could be same or smaller than window width. Hang on the wall, suggest at least add 3-6 inches based on the window width. 3. Choose Exact Shade height you want to finish. Suggest adding 5-10 Inches based on the window height.

For example, if the window inside width and length is 30.2"Wx72"H, the roman shade size should be 29.8"Wx72"L. You can choose 30"W*72"L to place order then email us your window size and demand inside mount.
④ OUTSIDE MOUNT: For outside mounting, roman shade width and length need to be 3-10 inches larger than your window width and length for better covering, if there is enough space the bigger the better. For example, if the window width and length is 30.2"Wx64"H, we suggest the roman shade size to be 36"Wx72"L. You can choose 36"Wx72"L to place order.
