A Nourishing and Calming Expeller-Pressed Carrier Oil

Sesame Oil is one of the most widely and commonly used oils in Ayurveda and is often referred to as "the King of Oils." Our sesame oil is expeller pressed and unrefined and thus maintains its many nutrient-rich benefits. It is highly regarded for its ability to penetrate and be easily absorbed into the skin, which makes it an excellent choice for massage, especially for those that tend toward dry skin. Sesame oil is often used for oil pulling, as a moisturizer and cleanser, and for scalp and hair health as well. As a "warming" oil, it is particularly good for the cooler times of the year. It also serves as a base for many of our herbalized oils.
