ALWAYS USE NEW SECTION OF FLOSS
Simply turn the spinning reel to reload new section of floss. Using new section for each tooth can increase the effectiveness of flossing.
Step 1
Floss your teeth with the pre-threaded floss holder. Use fresh section of floss as often as necessary.
Step 2
Turn the wheel clockwise 3-4 times to replace the old section of floss at the top of tines.
Step 3
Wind the used floss counter clockwise once to avoid excessive floss around the reel.
Step 4
Repeat step 1 to step 3 for each quadrant of the mouth. Cut off the extra floss when it is done, and clean the floss holder with water to keep it hygienic.
Useful Tips
- Always keep at least 15 turns of floss around the reel, not enough string might not be able to keep tension.
- When the floss at top of the tines loses its tension, simply turn the wheel clockwise to make it tight.
- Once the wheel becomes hard to turn, unwrap the floss a few times from the knob to make it loosen up.
- Unwrap the floss once after turning the wheel 3-4 times, and vice versa. It is an easy way to keep same amount of floss around the reel.
- Keep enough length of floss tail to make it easy to remove floss from the reel. Circling the floss tail around the handle can prevent it from moving with the reel.
