How to use Cake Craft Fondant
Cake Craft fondant is really easy to work with!
Cake Craft Fondant is less sticky than other brands, but rubbing a thin layer of vegetable while you are kneading the fondant and rolling it out will ensure it doesn't stick. Knead the fondant like bread dough on your counter. Roll the fondant evenly between 1/8 and 1/4" in thickness. If you are new to fondant, leaving it a little thicker will make it less likely to rip while you're stretching it. Transferring the fondant to your cake is easy with the help of your rolling pin. Use a fondant smoother to smooth the top and edges of your fondant. This is is easiest if your cake is firm and chilled. Use a knife or pizza cutter to cut the fondant flush with the bottom of the cake. Your scraps can be stored until your next cake!
