[FAQ-- How to "Always On"]-- button control schema as follows: long press the button to turn on 10 Leds at "Motion Sensor Mode", short press again to turn on 20 Leds at "MS Mode", third short Press to turn on 30 Leds at "MS Mode", fourth short Press to turn off all Leds. Instead, after short press to turn on 10 Leds or 20, or 30 Leds, you can long press the button till a new flicker occurs, means you have locked "Always on" mode at this brightness. Short press again to broke the locking.
