Dairy Free Gluten Free Vegan Mac and Cheese
We took the best of mac and cheese and made it plant based. Our Cheezy Mac comes in five delicious flavors that your whole family will love. Each flavor features our velvety vegan cheese sauce (in a convenient squeeze pouch) and gluten free pasta. Enjoy the creamy, cheezy deliciousness with each bite of our dairy-free Cheezy Mac.
Ingredients
- 1 box Daiya Deluxe Cheddar Style Cheezy Mac
- 1 can mixed beans
- 3/4 cup dry green lentils
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 2 tbsp chili seasoning*
*To make your own chili seasoning mix
- 2 tbsp dried minced onion
- 1 1/2 tsp chili powder, 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp ground cumin
Chili Cheezy Mac
In a large pot combine mixed beans, green lentils, diced tomatoes and chili seasoning. Bring chili to a bowl, cover and simmer for 20 minutes or until lentils are cooked. Be sure to stir occasionally so beans do not cook to the bottom of the pot. Halfway through cooking the chili, cook Daiya Cheddar Cheezy Mac according to the package instructions. Combine the chili and the Cheezy Mac. Enjoy!
