Kessa is a traditional rough textured exfoliating bath glove that has been used in Turkish baths or hammams for centuries. How to exfoliate with Turkish Bath Mitt / Glove / Kessa:
- Soften your skin by taking a bath or staying in a very warm shower for at least 5 minutes. You will achieve the best results by using the exfoliating glove after a sauna or Turkish bath.
- Rinsing is necessary: thoroughly rinse the skin of all types of soaps, bath foams, detergents and oils, as these can reduce the exfoliating effect.
- Wet the kessa and squeeze out excess water. The kessa should only be used on damp skin and not under running water. Rub the skin vigorously vertically until you see flakes of loose skin.
- When you first immerse yourself in water, the kessa will shrink slightly.
