PRO-HDRsplit2P-Aud: Distributes HDMI video & audio from a single source to 2 HDMI displays simultaneously (NO extended mode, cannot drag content from one screen to the other) without signal degradation. It has unique and advanced features that are perfect for users who are gradually upgrading their media and entertainment set ups, including mixed resolution output and audio extraction.

Video Scaling/Downscaling: Supports mixed 4K & 1080p display outputs. A 4K video source device can simultaneously display 4K content to 4K monitor(s) and 1080p content to 1080p monitor(s) via downscaling. Supports auto downscale or forced downscale. *See downscaling limitations*

Allows for seamless integration of newer displays with older displays in the same environment.

Audio Extractor: Extract audio from an incoming digital HDMI signal and converts it to an Optical S/PDIF Toslink and an S/PDIF RCA audio output, with the capability of splitting audio to all three outputs simultaneously.

Use Elgato or other game capture device to record game play footage in 1080p, while actually playing in 4K!

Save money, by not needing to upgrade to an expensive capture card that will allow for this.

ONLY downscales from 4K @60Hz 4:4:4 to 1080p

Downscaling Limitations:

• Downscaling from 720p to 480p or 4K @60hz 4:2:2 to 1080p or 2K to 1080p NOT supported
• 4K HDR to 1080p makes the 1080p display look washed out (PRO-HDRSplit4P-EH fixes this / see below). Splitter can bypass 4K HDR data content but cannot process it to make 4K HDR content fit 1080p proportionally.
• Will not work with AVRs using HDMI 1.4 and earlier (PRO-HDRsplit2P/4P/8P fixes this - see below)
• Auto downscale from 4K to 1080p should work in most cases. If Auto doesn’t work, try the Forced downscale option
• Frame rate conversion (e.g., 60Hz to 24Hz) is not supported

Important Notes

- 4K @30Hz monitors will display in 1080p @60Hz when the source content is 4K @60Hz.

- Some Sharp 4K TV models (such as 4T-C45AH1T, LC-43UC30U) are found incompatible with our Splitter in a downscaling operation.
