With the help of the new Hoya HD circular polarising filter, irritating reflections can be specifically switched off and this – this is an absolute world novelty – with a transmission of 25% higher (light transmission) than with conventional polar filters. The typical grey veils caused by reflections are reliably prevented, which makes the photos shine in brilliant, bold colours. The filter effect can be varied freely by rotating the filter and controlled in the effect. For example, the blue of the sky is realistically reinforced and the clouds are highlighted more plastically. Hoya's new HD polarising filters also do not affect the colour balance of the photos. To reproduce settings once made, these filters have a value scale, which is especially helpful when used on viewfinder cameras. This shows the settings already made.
