STEP-BY-STEP INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
- Measure and record the length and width of the glass surface.
- Cut the film along the grid and add 1+ inch on every side when doing this so you have excess film to trim away.
- lean the glass surface and the frame.
- Peel the backing film off.
- Generously spray the water on the static side of the film.
- Lightly mist the glass.
- Place the film on the wet window.
- Use a plastic card to squeegee the water and air out under the film.
- Use the plastic card to work the film into the edges as tightly as possible. Trim excess material away with a sharp razor, leaving a 1/16” wide gap around the four perimeter edges of the film.
Some Usual Questions And Answers：
1. How to deal with the air bubbles?
If you find it's hard to get rid of the bubbles, uncover the window film, spray more water between the glass and the film and squeegee firmly again. Water will make it much easier to remove bubbles.
2. Why the film fall off after a while?
Please check if you have removed the liner, trimmed the edges or squeegeed excess water and bubbles.
Leave a 1/16” wide gap around the four perimeter edges of the film.
This gap is essential for the proper thermal expansion of the glass and allows you to completely squeegee the water and air from under the film.
