Raincoast Trading adheres to the highest sustainability standards when catching, processing and packaging seafood. Our seafood is single-cooked and packed in natural fish oils, which results in a rich, dense flavour and loads of extra nutrition typically not found in most canned seafood products.

100% traceability from boat to can
Raincoast Trading tuna uses only young, smaller albacore that have proven to be amongst the lowest mercury in the world.
When it comes to putting tuna in the can, quality remains the name of the game. Raincoast’s Wild Albacore Tuna is hand-packed to ensure that you get the best of the fish in every can.
Our tuna is cooked only once—during the canning process— to preserve its taste, natural oils, and nutrition.
Typical canned tuna is cooked twice: once before canning and once during canning, so water or oil needs to be added to put moisture back into the fish.
We don’t need to add anything back—it’s just natural tuna, and it’s ready for you to enjoy.
