Nature provides a mind bending amount of choice materials that we love using such as hemp, cotton, linen, jute, straw, Yulex natural rubber, cork and others.	Our vegan shoes, sandals, Sidewalk Surfers and boots are carefully made with absolutely no animal products or byproducts, so you can feel good about feeling so good in your Sanuks.	Don’t lose them, re-use them. Many of our shoes are machine washable. Simply remove the sock liner, wash cold, and air dry. Boom. Fresh kicks with an extended lifespan.	We like using reincarnated rubbish in the form of quality materials like Recycled PET, polyester, cotton, EVA, foams and other recycled stuff.

It features a shoe upper with a sandal bottom offering complete comfort with a little extra protection. You'll love everything about this washed canvas shoe, er, sandal--the dual elastic goring for an easy on/off, the relaxed-outdoorsy style, and the high-abrasion rubber outsole, just to mention a few. Sanuk was started by surfers in southern California in the late '90s who were looking for footwear that reflected their lighthearted way of life. Founder Jeff Kelley was disappointed to see little selection in a category of footwear that had become his main shoe staple: the flip flop. Jeff had always been interested in footwear and with a little help from a few friends Sanuk was born. Years later, the Sanuk brand still delivers out of the ordinary, quality product to surf and specialty shops every season and has helped bring the flip-flop category from a summer only item to something worn all year.
