Sweet & Spicy Glazed Tofu
Our manchamanteles mole blend is sweet and spicy with a blend of chiles, fruity pineapple and a hint of cinnamon and clove.
1) Heat a non-stick frying pan and gently sear 2 bricks of tofu. Set aside.
2) In a small sauce pan, add mole blend and water and cook over medium heat until the mixture starts to simmer.
3) Let reduce for about 3 minutes and add corn starch.
4) Reduce until desired consistency and remove from heat.
5) Put tofu bricks on plate and gently pour sauce mix over.
6) Garnish with chopped green onions and serve immediately.
Ingredients:
- 2 bricks firm tofu drained
- 1/8 cup Manchamanteles Mole Blend
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tsp. corn starch
- Green onion for garnishing
