Taralli is an Italian snack common all over the southern half of the Italian Peninsula ours being from PUGLIA. A cracker similar in texture to a breadstick or a pretzel they are my favorite with coffee or even alongside a Antipasto or dipped in olive oil as an appetizer Taralli are classically formed into rings or ovals about 1.5-3". Taralli from Puglia are briefly boiled before being baked, which gives them a very interesting texture. Baked taralli can be kept in an airtight container for several months. Each package is 12.25 oz (350 grams)
