Tennessee’s Best Old Fashion Sorghum - Two Pack - Handcrafted with Simple Ingredients - Pure Sorghum Molasses - All Natural, Small Batch-Made - Two 16 oz Jars (454 g)
Sorghum is a type of grass that’s grown in the southern United States. Sorghum is natural high in potassium, antioxidants, contains protein, calcium, magnesium, and phosphorus. This sweetener can be use in place of honey, goes great on a biscuit, toast and even in grits!
1. Cream together 3/4 cup softened, unsalted butter and 1 cup raw sugar. Beat in 1 egg and 1/4 cup Tennessee's Best Sorghum.
2. In a separate bowl combine 2 cups all purpose flour, 2 tsp baking soda, 1 tsp ground cinnamon, 3/4 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp ground ginger, 1/2 tsp ground cloves.
3. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, beat until just combined. Cover bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for one hour.
4. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Line baking sheet with parchment paper. Roll dough into 2 inch balls and place a few inches apart on the cookie sheet. Sprinkle with sugar
5. Bake for 10 minutes and remove from oven and allow to cool.
