This sodium-free rub is named ‘Beef Brisket Dry Rub’ because that is what I had in mind while I was working on the recipe- a sweet, spicy and peppery rub that would create a flavorful bark on the outside of a perfectly cooked brisket. I wouldn’t shy away from trying it out on chicken or steaks though. Just be sure to salt or brine your meat to your liking!
