Privacy Mode Unlike many other HomeKit-enabled cameras, Opto has a flexible privacy shutter feature with an exclusive "privacy mode" that quickly and easily embeds the camera's lens inside the camera housing, ensuring that nothing is visible to the camera. If you don't want it to record, turn the lens off. You can also enter privacy mode by pressing a physical button, which will tilt down and hide its lens. Turn the lens on when you want to record a nice moment with your loved one. |

The VOCOlinc app gives you a lot of control of the Opto, including Privacy Mode, the ability to turn Night Vision on or off, a motion event timeline along a very detailed list of all motion events by time & date. In addition, you get full control over the pan, tilt, and zoom functionality.
If you see any flicker in your streamed image, (usually due to lighting), you have the option to minimise flicker by setting the Frequency to either 50 or 60Hz, depending on your region.
