I look at this and instantly think 1001 Arabian nights. You did well to capture the sort of mood high ceiling architecture brought at that time.

I's an absolutely lovely painting, with a "sublime" quality if you know what I mean. The spot of light on the player with the mostly-implied ornateness in the shaded background is amazing.
