Masterpiece. Curious, Does the blue/orange have anything to do with twin flame?

Haha looking at the clouds now I see a pony I'm very happy this piece reached you like that! I wasn't familiar with the concept of the twin flame before but I can see how it can be interpreted like that after reading about it

Stunning concept and beautiful execution. I love it so much that I just spent the past hour looking through your portfolio. The celestial themes are especially great.

The blue touches in the gash on his back, and the perfect transition between the hair and the background, give it away. I'm calling ai on this one.

still a cool work of art though

Keep it up! There’s a clear progression of skills and creativity in your portfolio, even from a few years ago. Art means a lot of different things to different people, but in every case, the artist is exposing a piece of themselves that requires some level of vulnerability. Thanks for sharing!

If I could make art, I would want to make creations like this. Stunning, you are incredible! I don’t comment often if ever but your work here compelled me to do so. Thank you for this lovely sight!

Rosco777 OP t1_j68jbmx wrote

It means a lot to me to read that And yes, some times so much vulnerability and different feelings go when working on a piece, that by the moment its done, I feel somehow empty. Like what now? But fortunately I find an art idea again to attach to, and that feeling fades

For me it can symbolize how our outside environment can be reflected from the inside too, that's why the gash has similar colours as the night or day cloth I like to draw it and I add in other artworks too if it looks good

3

Rosco777 OP t1_j68wz8g wrote

Not necessarily. But its part of a series of similar artworks. I did one where the cloth included only the night sky and one only with a sunrise So I wanted to include both in one artwork too And thank you!!

Breathtakingly beautiful.

This is my own personal preference but whenever I see β€œhigher beings” like gods and celestial deities I always liken them to be perfect figures. So things like blemishes, moles, and baby hairs always make me a bit sad considering the former are mutations in the skin (which is a really human characteristic of imperfection). I remember playing Mortal Kombat and the antagonist goddess, Kronica, has freckles. So very strange for me. Battle scars I can understand but freckles is just too β€œhuman”.

That blue fabric is killer. Your hair is dreamy... wow.

Edit...as a stargrazer, I'm lost in that blue. Man, that's so good.

2

Rosco777 OP t1_j694x21 wrote

Definitely sharing that opinion Having skin imperfection breaks that illusion of godly perfection they are supposed to be In the case here, I wasn't sure if it would be a demi human, a celestial being, or a normal human enwrapped in a dreamy scenario. So I decided not to clear the skin this time

Have people on this sub adapted to AI or is this strictly for human art?

1

ChibbleChobbles t1_j69pm1a wrote

What I am saying is, if this is not AI then you are a photoshop god. Take it as a compliment.

Like If I worked out natty and people started accusing me of steroids usage, I would be flattered.

Yea I get that, and it definitely feels nice to take it as a compliment But it's hard when most people are quick to judge, not because an artwork is too good necessary, but because they have a limited knowledge and can't tell the difference. It's really obvious if you do a bit of research

I have some familiarity with photoshop and what puts me off about this image is the noisyness the look of digital compression artefacting, the lack of a delineation between the foreground and the background. Its too perfect. For example, zoom in on the boarder between the warm/cool sky in your butterfly image from a couple years ago. The. check out the difference between that and the boarder between the warm and cool sky in this image, there is n't a distinct line, it blends in in a very natural photographic looking way that seems almost impossible. Hopefully your feelings are not hurt by my judgement. I'm pretty much a nobody, don't worry about me. But I stand by it, this piece was totally generated via ai.

Thank you so much!!

Yep I get haha. That was intentional as at first I wanted to make the whole background black and white to bring the entire focus on the main subject. But it was too much so I only dimmed the colours a bit in the sky and around the edges of the cloth too. It's a common technique to swift attention in a desired place in the artwork

Thank you!! The original picture of me I used as a base for this was taken by a friend, outside in an overcast sky. As being a diffuse light on the body with no strong direction, I can edit the lighting more freely in Photoshop than in other light scenarios like a full blown sun
