Never left me stranded except when the clutch failed. Everyone is surprised the engine is still strong, transmission has no grinds, still smooth. I'm hoping to make it to 450k. I don't want car payments anytime soon. My mechanic says new Golfs and Jettas are PITA when it comes to maintenance. Permalink 1
