I live in Duluth, MN and can recommend DT to anyone looking for solid long lasting gear. Super popular here amongst outdoor enthusiasts and city folk alike.

Dunno about Deluth, I have Kincos. I've found that under ~20F if I'm spending any serious time out there I need chemical handpacks. I have very warm gloves but they're expensive goretex/down expedition things. For work it's Kincos, and hand heaters if cold. If you find anything else barbed-wire tough that goes down to 0f, let me know!

Do you like Buffalo or pigskin version?

I just bought the Kinco 901’s (pigskin) from Amazon a week or so ago and used them last week to shovel snow when it was -10 degrees Fahrenheit out. Hands stayed warm throughout and like them so far. They are a bit stiff but should break in over time.

Definitely run big (I usually wear L for gloves…ordered both L and M and L was too big/long in the fingers so kept the M and sent L back). They come with a pack of Nikwax to water proof but also picked up some Sno Seal. Tried them both and preferred the Sno Seal. All in (gloves + Sno Seal) was around $50.

I've never heard good things about DT. That's obviously anecdotal but you might be able to find something better for a similar price.

Is there a reason you want them specifically?

Was going there tomorrow but I have been seeing a lot of kinco recommendations on the sub

Ah, that makes sense

I've seen good stuff about Kinco too.

Duluth is awesome, they're typically highly rated. Any company making as much stuff as they do are going to get a few failures here and there and those customers are gonna be the most loud.

I've been using their stuff exclusively for years and nothing has failed me yet except 1 pair of pants but I'm super rough on them and I'm surprised they lasted at long as they did and was 3 times longer than any other brand I've tried

I specifically only use Duluth for any work gear. Fabrication shop, construction, manufacturing and they're the only brand that's held up.

I've got their Firehouse pants and coat, various hoodies, shirts, underwear, socks, everything I've bought 2+years ago is all still going. Only one pair of underwear is starting to fail and get a hole in the crotch area but I bought those like 4 years ago.
