I have a gym with mirrored walls and want to mount my TV without removing the mirrors. The ceiling is a drop-ceiling and I really don't want to try to hang the TV that way.
I know there are glass bits but am I risking the integrity of the mirror/glass by drilling holes while it's hung?
The idea would be to create openings large enough to insert spacers to prevent any weight from touching the glass.
EDIT: For clarity - I'm not mounting the TV directly to the mirror. I want to gain access to the studs. Obviously hanging any weight from glass is not a great idea.
I would create openings in the mirror either by drilling four strategically placed holes or by cutting a rectangular section. I'd prefer to just do the holes and use spacers for the mounts.
