Yes. It's along the lines of that project. I'd like to replicate the lovebox. She uses a MacBook for home and has a work-issued ThinkPad. I was under the assumption that the "lovebox" was a standalone device... If it's not, would I have to use a pi? My budget is about $200.

It needs to be able to receive text and photos via data sent from my phone or PC. She'd receive feedback from the box (spinning symbol).
I have Arduino boards and most of the parts I think I need to make this happen.
