I installed an On-Q cable management box above my gas fireplace. The intention was to put a Samsung ConnectOne box in it and mount a Frame tv in front of it.
I had to use my fireplace today and I noticed that the On-Q plastic inclosure is warm to touch. Now thinking about it I don’t think you can avoid that since the fireplace flue (metal cylinder that transports the gas out of my house) runs behind the On-Q box.
Is this all normal? If not, how can I prevent the On-Q from heating up?
