Going through the process of repainting our bathroom a new color, however the last time it was painted there was added paint glitter involved. I know the glitter is going to have to be removed before new paint can be applied. Just looking if anyone else had some tips?

If it’s water based paint you should be able to paint over it. It shouldn’t have to be removed I wouldn’t want to get in all that mess anyways.

I guess glitter might not be the right word to use, it’s kinda like grain of rice sized “glitter”. It’s shaped like stars and moons and kind of pokes out of the paint

Oh jeez… if it’s on drywall you’ll probably need to sand it. I don’t think paint stripper would be any good with objects in the paint that may be plastic or resin. Good luck!

Either a belt sander, or a truckload of new drywall...
