I believe there's a small lake at the base of the mountain, I say this because I had a mural of joffrey peak in my room growing up. It was one of those wallpaper deals.

There is! It is called the Upper Joffre Lake. Had a fun swim there, hope you'll get to visit it some day :)

There are 3 Joffre Lakes, each named Joffre and the number gets higher as you climb
