Ask Irving, they spray glyphosate on the entire province, issues were bound to pop up eventually. The Deer population is also way down, forest annihilation on some of the most beautiful forest once found in the entire country, damn shame.

I needed to leave, but I miss views like this. Fredericton, viewed from up Regent/Smythe at 6am as the sun lights up a fresh coat of snow across everything... ahhh, I miss that.

Reminded me of a picture I took on my pixel in northern Michigan. Awesome picture, I can sense the cold silence being far away from civilization and roads.

This is gorgeous!

Would you mind if I saved this photo to possibly paint at some point in the future? I'm a shit artist but the shadows and colors here are magical and I'd love to give it a shot.

Yeah, tomorrow morning's going to be a shit show on the roads. They've been pretty liberal about cancelling schools this winter so I'm mentally prepping myself for a day of juggling work and the kids at home.

UPDATE: aaaaaaaand they're closed!

There are many worse places to live. I left Fredericton 38 years ago. The years there ( and part of my summers in Bathurst) we’re good ones. Met my wife there too!

Reminds me of the painting Afterglow by Joseph Farquharson, the resemblance is really striking.

Never been to the east coast, would love to visit one day! My dad used to live in NB for a long time. Hard times, but he loved it and has a lot of interesting stories.
