Not disputing he’s a dick but I’m not sure how using a little hyperbole to express admiration for another musician is proof. I guess when people hate you even the most innocuous things are antipathy-inducing.

Frankly I have always thought Clapton was overrated. The only good music he put out was in bands with other people and his solo stuff is largely shit.
