Many highlighting apps do too many things.

I built this because I wanted just 2 things:

  • highlight text immediately after selecting a text. I don't need a color picker!
  • copy all highlights to paste in my notebook.

Here's a demo on how I use this

Nice website! I found I could spam highlight to get multiple citations in the lower field. Also would be nice if you could make citations to mla or apa format to quickly copy and paste into a paper. Either way the site is really cool! Maybe I'll use it for my next college assignment

That's actually a good idea. I'll put it in my roadmap. Thanks for the feedback!

Nice!

How about adding "deduplication" on the right? Does anybody else think the same or just me?

Thanks for trying it out. Hmm, I'm building the extension version of this, not sure if it'll work on pdf opened in browser...

Wasn't this what the program soft keys back in the day did?

Never heard of it, would be keen to know why they stopped.

If you have the text in digital form already, you can just copy/paste what you're highlighting into any doc you want.
And if from the web, probably already have autocopy extensions.
Kinda useless?

If the text is just one line, it's not gonna be useful. If it's a long text, this will save a lot of alt-tabbing.
