I met the President of Glasgow University and told him the Scots I knew all wanted independence - not the devolved Edinburg government he got his knighthood for. He said. “Ach noo It’s a throwaway vote (no joke). I asked him if he’d every seen Braveheart. He said he hadn’t. I said after watching it I hated the English. And I’m English.
