I use the Honey google chrome plugin. It automatically searches for and tries numerous codes before you check out

That's an amazing tip! I never thought of looking for promo codes on a search engine, but it makes sense that there would be discounts available. It's definitely worth a try next time I'm making a purchase.

LPT: Whenever making a purchase on a website that you see an “enter promo code here” - flip to another tab and search the website name and promo code to find discounts available. I just got 10% off a purchase without even leaving the search engine.
