I am sorry it happened to you, I got Egged as a kid out trick or treating. Ive heard of it happening to people my entire life.

It is assault and it does hurt(especially in the crotch I am sure). I have no idea if it was targeted in your case. I do know it happens randomly.

If you are getting harassed for any reason its not OK. Hope you are doing well, and know the majority of Lowellians support an inclusive community.

There will always be shitty people but if you are out and feel in danger know you live in a supportive community, overall.

If anyone calls out for help and I hear them, I am going to help them. And that is not unique to me.

Thank you for these words! I do feel like the majority of Lowellians are supportive and don't tolerate harassment whether it's random or not. I'm glad to see that eggings apparently aren't trending (I'm in my 40s and have no idea what's going on sometimes, haha), but also saddened that this seems to happen to people every now and then. Maybe the rising price of eggs will get the douchebags to stop it, heh.

Anyway thank you for being a force for good around here.
