Hopefully it's because our trails are kept pretty clean. Near the house however, lots of lovely smells from inside and around it.

Our bear showed up to eat all of our fallen apples. Sounded like a huge dog crunching them up for hours. Hundreds of apples gone overnight.

That is crazy! I wonder if they get drunk off the fermented ones like birds and squirrels.
