So you think they’re going to start building the 53 mile corridor and instead just turn south and cut a hundreds-of-miles wide swath down to Mass?
Really?

Honestly. Yes. They have been pushing for this for the last 6 years. I don't think they are going to even come close to the idea of dumping their original plans.
The fact that you just trust them because of what? Is what makes me feel bad for the future you have for yourself. The people said no, they went behind the people's back and complained. There is no chance they will stop doing that now that they saw it worked.
We live in a post consequence society. They will build the lines, they will extend too far, say sorry and then pay the penalty. They will still make way more than the penalty will cost once they open up business in mass.

This might be the most ignorant post in r/Maine.
They have to go 53 miles to get to an existing power line they can follow. If they deviate from that plan there are a dozen groups (I already listed them for you) who will happily file another injunction to stop them. You believing they can ignore the approved plan and just turn south to clear cut western Maine is comical.

You're right, it's also comical that the people of maine voted against it for 6 years and it still went through.
Society is a joke now, so who gives a damn if you fit in with the clowns I guess. Hope you have a good life or whatever you call the corrupted morality you follow. L8tr sk8tr.
