Followed on from working as a weekly housecleaner for the families in the summers. They trusted me in their houses, and I already knew the property services/trades they used; their plumbers, lawn care/plow guys, etc. They mostly had general contractors on call as they were constantly having work done, but the GCs were usually happy not to have to do weekly checks and have me do them & call them if I saw a problem. Still kinda had to make a lot of judgement calls whether something was a potential emergency or not. Glad not to have to think about it any more.
