This keyboard is pretty popular these days, and i bought one (love it).

Since the official software is bad and hard to find (No manufacturer website, i found it on this sub), i decided to implement it to OpenRGB.

I know the enthusiast keyboard community is not a big fan of RGB but i still think it could be useful to some people.

I cannot ask a merge to OpenRGB master branch because this keyboard share the same IDs as some keychron keyboard, so i added it to my fork.

Everything is working, every modes and options are supported.Only working with USB, not with BT or 2.4Ghz (the official app does not allow it)

It could work with other GMK67 clones if they reuse the same chip, but i would not try it.

edit: Updated link with bugfixes / features.

I'm only building windows and bookworm, feel free to ask if you need other platform (except Mac OS sorry)

Thanks for putting this here along with the original software too. Gonna save this for when my gmk gets here in two weeks lol

Thanks for this. Do you have any more information regarding flashing this chip/keyboard? I'm currently waiting for mine and I'd like to add some more functionality but I can't find too much information. Do you have any idea what chips are being used, if there are any programming pins exposed?

To be fair i was too lazy to open the keyboard.

Here is the output for lsusb:

Bus 001 Device 006: ID 1a86:7523 QinHeng Electronics CH340 serial converter
Bus 001 Device 007: ID 05ac:024f Apple, Inc. Aluminium Keyboard (ANSI)

05ac:024f Is the chip i'm talking to send RGB data

My only knowledge with keyboard chips is with Sonix ones. This one is definitly not, so no SonixQMK for this board

Hope it can help you
