they look like clip in usually they just clip in though I may be mistaken

the wire has to go in a slot in the middle of the stab so you can't push the stab part back in with the wire in hte way, the stab bit needs to go in and the wire needs to go back in the slot in the middle of the bit that's come out, otherwise the other side won't go up and down (the point of the stab)
