Is there a term in music for longer songs that have two distinct parts that almost sound like entirely different songs?

Thinking along the lines of Eric Clapton's Layla, or maybe Elton John's Funeral for a Friend. I love all parts of each song, but to me the halves almost sound like two different songs combined into one. Just curious if there happens to be a term for this style. And if anyone has any recommendations for more songs like it? Thanks!
