If it’s open and people still haven’t went then wow, but if it isn’t open then that’s why it’s empty. The sad part is I don’t think it’s connected to the rest of the park

Full disclosure, I don't know if it's officially open but I do see people in it every morning and every day usually jogging or with kids I mean it's all done and ready to go as far as this area I just saw a wide open gate

I thought the developers company behind the Shaq towers bought the land were the park would connect to the other side behind the Newark legal building and the smaller tower next to it. As for Amtrak I can’t see them not approving it but that bridge is pulling up to 100 years old, I imagine them wanting to fix or replace it first then approve.

That's a great spot, lot of railfans stopped using it a few years when some security guards told them to buzz off. One of my personal favorite is Mulberry Commons right where it meets McCarter Highway.
