I don't care if she did get plastered there. As I age, I no longer tolerate anyone trying to blame someone for their poor choices. She drank, therefore she is responsible for all her actions while drinking.

Double standards apply. You can be too drunk to consent to sex, which holds up in court, but you get behind that wheel and no matter how drunk, it's the drunk person's fault. So which is it, are we liable or not for our own actions?
