Thank you for this. To be clear though - wouldn’t my tax burden be demonstrated as $1517 (317 from job Jan-Feb, and then $1200 from UC)? PA sent me “what I said” and “adjusted by them” columns and it said that I only owed 317 and only paid 317.
My budget is super tight as a student for the month of March, so I plan on trying to handle this myself as I don’t have $200+ to give to an accountant unfortunately
I called one about a different issue prior and never heard back. Figured it out after a bunch of research. Just thought I’d ask if anyone else here experienced that not being given back to them this year. I’ll call the dept of revenue Monday. If that fails to fix things then I’ll call an accountant

That was only around for tax year 2020 and exempted the first $10,200 of unemployment benefits.
