Everytime I drive through this area I get so nauseous because of how horrible it smells, like the stench of raw sewage for miles. What’s up with that?

Mushroom farms
Manure being spread on fields for spring crops.
Welcome to planting season
Didn't grow up around farms?
It’s rural farmland. Ahhh the sweet smell of spring. Arise Amos it’s time to spread the manure.
Let it fling!
Manure lol. It's just a bunch of fields. This time of year is usually when they manure the fields to fertilize them for planting in April-May
Organic farming
Close your car windows and allow the air already inside to circulate.
Watch out for that skunk in the middle of the road, dead skunk in the middle of the road...
Its that fresh country air you smell.
Try driving that run when there's fog. The fog holds the odor low at ground level so you get the full, dense effect of the smells. Something everyone should experience once 😂

Its march?
Stinkin’ to high heaven
Lol, you should smell West Grove / Kennett area in Pa. Doesn't hold a candle to the area your referencing. I don't mind driving through it to get home anymore but I could never imagine living in West Grove, home of two steaming compost factories. Not one but two, both within about a mile of each other and they operate 7 days a week ALL year long.
i grew up more around mostly livestock farms, some regular farms, closer to the Northwest part of NJ. I’ve never smelt it as strong as this. PA manure must be built different lmao

It's the mushrooms.
It's funny how some people react to it. The smell is also very strong in Kennet Square but it doesn't bother me st all.

It's shit bud
It’s the first thing you learn at Kutztown University because it’s undoubtedly the first thing you ask: as others have said, it’s the mushroom farms.

Now is a great time to thank your local farmers. It ain't like they love the smell either, but they are providing sustenance nonetheless.

Come to Kennett Square and then talk to us about smell.
