Can anyone identify which church it is? by ChairForce_MMII Yep, googled the photographer and found this: https://www.ydr.com/story/news/history/blogs/universal-york/2016/03/08/a-a-bosshart-prolific-artist-and-photographer-of-york-county-people-and-landscapes/81497408/ This is the closest I could find looking around downtown York (city), but it isn't exact. https://www.google.com/maps/place/First+St+John's+Lutheran+Church/@39.959966,-76.732335,17z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m5!3m4!1s0x89c88ea88c1d5f59:0xac28426cc2684056!8m2!3d39.9599703!4d-76.7301507 Missing the chimney and some of the features on the steeple don't quite match. OP, I'd suggest posting to a York County sub (if one exists? Idk, I'm not from out there) or a York genealogy group on Facebook. Even if the church has been demolished, genealogists and local historians can probably still help you identify it. Permalink Parent 3
