I’m afraid this has been an ongoing issue since the very first “compassion” center “slater” opened its doors. Slater was caught spraying Eagle 20 on flowering plants, this was before testing. I’m sure they and other growers used it as well. Once the cultivators started growing, the all sprayed whatever the hell they wanted on flowering plants, spider mites after all can really cost you a fortune, of course introducing predator mites and ladybugs is just too hippy for these fast paced growers. Keep in mind all this cannabis was slated to be use by patients with medical conditions, some people with compromised immune systems and all sorts of disorders. Mold was almost a given during this time as well as banned pesticides. It wasn’t until the State finally, finally rolled out testing that they where finally caught, and their excuses where hilarious. In any event, if these growers are using irradiation machines to kill mold they dam well better disclose that on the packaging. Greed does funny things to people, they start off with the best intentions and then… it all goes to hell in a handbag. Best advice was from Neil young back in the day… home grown is a good thing, plant that bell and let it ring.
