You can donate it to charity for a tax write-off. It’s super easy, they will come pick it up (even if it’s completely dead) and do the rest, and send you a receipt in the mail. It helps a cause you care about, but the receipt you receive will be for a fair amount less than you might expect.

As far as “bang for your buck” goes. If it’s truly a parts car, either put it up on FB/Craigslist or call around to some junkyards & small autofix places to get some numbers. You’ll have to do a little more work here but who knows maybe someone will want to pay for it.

You could try getting it to a Saturn dealership to see if they’d trade it in for any value at all toward a new/used vehicle but you’d have to get it to drive onto the lot for that.
