I think he's just "the boyfriend" which sorta makes him the primary suspect cause that's how these cases tend to go. There doesn't seem to be much in the way of actual evidence that really implicates him.

If anything, fact that his home was searched months ago and there's been no real followup statement seems to suggest the opposite. Charges are kinda tough to have when there's no body.
