It’s more of an issue with their company side and customer service bullshit than it is with their service.

Looks like Verizon & Cox are the only two major ISPs that have gigabit speeds around here which blows.

And 1000 Mbps / 1000 Mbps upload is definitely not the same as 1000 Mbps download / 35 Mbps upload even if consistency and reliability were the same.

A lot of home users who just do browsing/streaming might not notice a difference. But it will show with online gaming, WFH, etc.

Edit: they all suck though. The cable company cliche will never die. Ideally, we can build out municipal low cost options and increase free wifi areas to make it better. Leave the big guys for the people who need better, but have an accessible/affordable solution for the basic shit.
