Not sure,sorry. I do believe most contractors test before you start. Northrop Grumman did. Northrop also did urine. I would expect them to be the same, but I don't want to give you bad information so take what I say as a general rule not as definite.

They do the test before they give you a start date. You will be eligible to apply again in a year if you fail it.

It's a hair test, and they will rescind an offer. I'm pretty sure they will not if you have your medical card though. It's super easy to get.
