Hey Rhode Island! My name is Steve 29M and my wife is Jill 26F we would like to start a casual board game group that meets up regularly bi-weekly with some smaller pickup games and hang out sessions in-between.

Almost anyone can join just send me a DM with your discord name and what games you like. We can have a voice chat to get to know each other then set up a time to meet up in person.

If we can get a RI gaming group going on Discord, we play ad-hoc games on BGA or dominion.games multiple nights a week, and that's the easiest. I can create the server and fill it with our small group if I have volunteers to help moderate and promote it to the other board game folks.

Which part of the state are you in? There are a number of board game groups that meet in various parts of the state.

I think best first step would be to create an open or at least easy-invite discord and get it populated and active.
